Oops, disconnected airbag plug under glove box
2002 Max SE. So i had this insane squeek/rattle noise coming from the glove box that was driving me insane. So (without looking up any directions) I took the glove box out disconnecting all the wires in the process to figure out what was going on. Turned out the bottom peice was loose. I fixed it and put it all back together no problems, rattle is gone.
I didnt disconnect the battery while doing so and according to posts I'm reading I'm lucky the airbag didnt go off in my face because I disconnected the yellow airbag sensor. Anyways, now my airbag/SRS light is flashing non stop and I tried resetting it with the door pillar button trick but it didnt work. Any other way I can get it to turn off? Am I in danger of the passenger air bag deploying? thanks
