What's up Org members.

Finally someone has stepped up and volunteered a demo car for Blue_ Batmobile‘s overlays. I spoke with him tonight and he decided that he wanted to poll what overlay's the 5.5 community wanted to for their vehicles. From the previous thread it seems the majority were interested in four different overlays so I decided to open a poll to see what would be the most sought after items. I dont think any 5.5 ordered the roof overlay. Is this poll just to see which overlay is the most popular? I'm a bit confused...:confused: And what does it have to do with donor car?

No he is thinking of making a roof overlay for the 5.5 using my car and show other members that might be interested. The poll is to see what the community wants and if there is enough interest Blue_Batmobile will probably make those items also. He should chime in soon.

I still dont get it... If there's a high interest in a certain overlay then he would produce it? Last time I checked, sidemarkers and tail lights overlays are old news. And eyelid designs are very limited, especially taillights and sidemarkers. The only thing you can do is the tint shade. Roof overlay is a bit tricky for 5th gens. We dont have roofs like 6th gen which dont flow from front windshield to the back. But I am interested in what he can do with the roof.

I want the roof overlay badly, as my roof is in bad condition. I bought the GTR overlays and the red signal overlays already. My sidemarkers are smoked (eBay) already and I have the Fibre-Customs eyelids, so I don't need the vinyls for those. Roof +1.

This is mainly geared for Overlays I dont already offer. Roof Overlays have been really poular with the other cars I've made them for: g35, g37, g35 sedan, altima, alima coupe and quite a few others. Griff is offering his car so I can create any new Overlays you guys might be interested in me making ;).

i like the idea of the eyelids and roof overlays, neither of which there's a large selection in our community.

I have clear side markers, but my car is black and i'm thinking about getting the overlays for them..

man it was like 2 other threads on this. we just get left out sometimes thats all:rolleyes:

They look good when on, but they are a pain to install.

Bump for interest, this poll was requested by Bat. Lets just add our opinions to receive some vinyl options!

or smoke the stock ones with black paint. a must on a black car. a dark car should never have clears.

If I ever change anything, I think they'll either be tinted per these overlays (or paint), or I'll just go back to the ambers to match my blinkers.

BAT I'm begging you please make the roof overlay in either black or carbon fiber. Please I'm begging you! God I hope 5th hen maxima roof is the same size as the 2k i30. Please roof overlay!!!

what exactly is a roof overlay???

a big piece of overlay (usually glossy black to imitate a glass roof) that you stick on to the roof of your car.

Not necessarily a glass roof. If I had a color other than black, it would be to provide contrast between the colors ie. White car with black roof.
