how do i take off the ac controllers knob?

how do i take off the ac controllers ****?

how do i remove the volume like thing on the ac controller i tired pulling it it won't come out
btw its the digital climate control unit

for some reason i wanted to take it off used pliers and damaged it so i need to replac eit with the one on the stereo

take your two fingers and pull outward hard. It will come off.

the **** on the stereo will not fit...the base is different, IIRC...
