Removing passenger seat - disabling SRS Airbag

interested in removing pass seat for weight reduction

i no this will throw an airbag light once the sensor to the seat is detached and the car is running

is there a way to trick the system so that the light doesnt come on?

i dont want 2 have 2 rely on the airbag light reset procedure (once ive reinstalled the seats) if i can avoid it

Good question!

I would like to know also if there is any way to "bypass" the Airbag light coming on.

I have installed 2 Reclinable Sport Seats.

1. ABS is for brakes. i have no idea why you have an anti-lock braking connection to your pass seat.
2. it looks like you have a gxe (not gle)? - the car in ur pic is def a gxe. that's the lowest trim for maximas so i dunno if u have dual side airbags. my pass seat def has airbags and there is definitly an airbag connection to the seat.

Safety feature with seat belt lockers also, if there is a malfuntion in the seatbelt sensor it kicks the abs light on.
