So I can't move my shifter into the 1-2 position..........

Haven't cracked anything opened yet to see what's going on. Possible throwout bearing issue. I'm not able to move the shifter over to the 1st/2nd gear spot to select either 1st or 2nd. Doesn't happen all the time, and it's not about getting into gear. When the shifter acts like it suppose to and moves from neutral to the left between 1st and 2nd, I can get into either gear. Sometimes it just won't move over is my issue. So would this be a throwout bearing issue as I was told, or could it be tranny/synchro related? Started this past weekend, and happens intermittently. Thanks for any assistance.

Ever dropped loose change in your car? If a penny or something fell down in the gear shifter bezel it could easily be causing your troubles.

*Awesome rims, btw :)

I'm assuming its a manual, If so the boot would prevent any change that was dropped, by not going in their.

Any consensus on this?

Yes, nothing good can come from beating on your car at the drag strip. :D

I think it's the TO bearing - if you don't hear any grinding then it probably isn't your synchros. good luck

But I got a Spec Stage 2 Clutch and a Fidanza flywheel now, So I'll be a little faster in my quest to tearing stuff up.
