will a 2003 maxima's abs sensor work on a 2001?
 

i had to change the knuckle on my car the front left and the one i got was from a 2003 maxima and it came with the abs sensor (my old one broke while tryign t o take it off) but i realized the socked of the sensors were different, so i cut the old sensors adapter and hooked it tot he new one and after that i had the CEl, ABS, Slip and TSC off lights and i erased them now i get all those lights except the cel so when i hook the obd scanner it says no code found what went wrong?

I'm showing that the sensors are the same on 00-03 models. Your scanner will not give you ABS codes, you need the Consult tool I believe (dealer). The sensor is probably not aligned properly with the teeth.

so i have to go to the dealer to get it reseted? how much will it cost? also i drove the car like 2miles with the left side sensor unplugged
