Looks decent, do you have LED's for the lights? Also what does it look like when the blinker blinks?

Saw the video..didnt realize there was one, looked like a picture. Need some 6 ohm loaders.

JNCoRacer 12-09-2008 02:01 PM

You not watch the video?

Looks decent. 4th pic looks the best.

Torgus 12-09-2008 02:03 PM

look decent.

Feldman 12-09-2008 02:50 PM

looks good, you should invest in some of the resistors that make it so you dont have the fast blinking with the turn signal though. I cant remember what they are called but i am sure someone can chime in with the name

kzoosho 12-09-2008 02:58 PM

They are load resistors. I suggested that to the owner but he said it is fine. I use grote led flashers in my personal cars.

IHAVEA2KMAXIMA 12-09-2008 03:22 PM

The pattern is a little weird. I think it would look better if there's one more LED on the very top.

dnozzle2789 12-09-2008 03:48 PM

i like it..and now i wanna do it

I like the fast blinking. its different.

Bjs470 12-09-2008 04:00 PM

ehhhh decent

Orgullo 12-09-2008 04:03 PM

Is that glue on the sides where you sealed the light back up? Maybe should've cut deeper into the headlight so when you glued it back it didn't leave you with that look. JMO

kzoosho 12-09-2008 04:10 PM

Silicone and i wanted to black it out as was the plan but the owner said no lol.

goathead 12-09-2008 05:11 PM

Looks like a disco ball.

ChevelleRH 12-09-2008 05:17 PM

Technically, Im pretty sure you need a reflector in there, but I like the LED taillight concept. A little rearranging, resealing, and tinting and I think it would look awesome. Overall very nice first attempt

Edit: I am sure (at least in Ohio)

Teaner 12-09-2008 07:15 PM

looks good i like how all the lights match with the spoiler....i think nissan missed out on LED's orginally on our trail lights.

i agree with chevelle an overall tint job on these would look sick.

I've contacted you before about doing some tail light work for me. What do you think something like this would cost to do for a member?

danger300z 12-09-2008 07:39 PM

I like it but I think i would look better with the 00-01 se tails

Drockb418 12-09-2008 07:46 PM

i like the idea, but the look when its off is a Fail.

majesticmaxima 12-10-2008 01:43 AM

look like the ones i made sans the amber light.
http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/i...DSC_0002-1.jpg
either way nice job. You could always put the stock red/amber cover over it, then you'd have a reflector.

Metal Maxima 12-10-2008 03:48 AM

Does not look good at all, IMHO....sorry.

Torgus 12-10-2008 06:15 AM

they def need to be blacked out asap.

02RIMax 12-10-2008 08:00 AM

I agree it would look a lot better blacked out.

98_maxi 12-10-2008 08:18 AM

what kind of LEDs did you use?

Bassbreaker 12-10-2008 09:01 AM

meh..i think the 4th pic down looks pretty cool...

kzoosho 12-10-2008 09:04 AM

HP Superflux

ChrisMan287 12-10-2008 11:56 AM

Not bad man. Kidnap either 1 of my cars. :D

sparks03max 12-10-2008 12:23 PM

So I see you went through with it using the dremel. See what I mean about the edges? When I did this with a set of tails, I used some stock color paint (KT3) for my car and taped then primered the plastic around the edge... about 1/4", then painted it stock color to cover up the dremel marks, and it really came out good.

Do you know how to make my flashers blink fast like the one in the video??

The Law 12-11-2008 01:52 AM

Not really feeling it, but its alright.

U can get a grote flasher and make it flash as fast as you want. Or you can get leds and it will do it on its own.

Thanks, I will research where to get a "grote flasher".

hi-tek22 12-11-2008 10:17 AM

looks great...Im loving the ATX power supply....lol

FlipCpt45 12-11-2008 11:30 AM

Nah very very bad road right there

meccanoble 12-11-2008 01:39 PM

I think it looks really good. The LEDs are very visible. My only issue is the alignment of bulbs or maybe its the pattern. Thats the easiest thing to fix anyway. Good job.

ChevelleRH 12-11-2008 07:33 PM
