I have some lights out on mine.....here is the thread
http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...s-how-fix.html I will most likely be doing it this weekend. I will probably swap to blue or red...the green is boring...I'll let you know when I'm done unless you find an answer before hand. |

^ is that 5 or 5.5? so blurry cant tell..looks like 5th though...and you have to login to view that thread...not signing up lol...oh well ill make a write up on my 5.5 while im doing it

Nice I will use that. I will have to try to make a write up for the center controls (heat, stereo etc)
|
climate controls are easy, just buy neowedge bulbs from autolumination. The bose is a major PITA, but it turned out well. You will need a ton of PLCC-2 leds for that to do it properly.

K sounds good, I'll make a write up while I'm doing both. Thanks for the info

If i can find my old bose faceplate i will take a picture of it to show you how you can do it the messy way. It worked fine and no one would now that it looked like hell when I was done. I used 5mm wide angle led's. I didn't know you could buy the proper led's for the bose on ebay.

Knight,
In your write-up, did you simply use the original bulb locations, or are they surface mounted? Do you have any pictures of the other side of the gauge cluster after you finished? |
