please help my cruise control won't work
 

happen like 6mo's back the cruise control all sudden stopped working. when i hit cruise on/off button the green "cruise" light lite up, but when i press the "Coast set" button nothing happens. but while the cruise is on and if the car is going 35mph or above the "set: light start to blink kinda fast but when i press accelerate button or coast set button it stops for few seconds and then starts to blink again. some ppl told me that its because i have LED tail lights but then i ahd led tails while the cruise control was working but still i installed load equalisers on the brake lights still didnt work so i put the old bulbs back still its the same it won't work. any ideas what can be wrong wiht it. no CEL either

i would guess you might have a vacuum leak in the abs line, when the vacuum pump tries to hold the throttle plate at the proper position to maintain the speed, it can't get enough vacuum. check your lines from the vacuum pump to the actuall mechanism where the cable comes into. also, check your pump itself, it have failed. always check all fuses first though, it might be a sismple as a blown fuse. all the fuses are good checked them all, how do i check for vacuum leak
