Guess it's finally time to upgrade, question is....headers too?

HotshotVQ35 Oct 22, 2009 03:58 PM

bigleman Oct 22, 2009 03:59 PM

mist max2000 Oct 22, 2009 05:23 PM

its headers time :)

crazy97 Oct 22, 2009 05:46 PM

Exhaust tape and a hose clamp will fix that right up :D

anomaly117 Oct 22, 2009 05:56 PM

you can get no name headers cheap on ebay. not sure how they sound tho :slant:

SEmy2K2go Oct 23, 2009 03:45 PM

Eh...not interested in installing any "performance" parts on this car anymore. OEM Y pipe will do me just fine.

DrunkieTheBear Oct 23, 2009 03:46 PM

or at least an aftermarket y-pipe. cheaper and no need to tune.

HotshotVQ35 Oct 23, 2009 03:48 PM

ok, so then why ask if you should upgrade to headers?

DrunkieTheBear Oct 23, 2009 03:53 PM

blame the raccoons

Grand_hustle17 Oct 23, 2009 07:18 PM

i dont get it either... u saw the price... for sure isnt going to buy any performance mods, so why did the price stick out to ya?

Unklejoe Oct 25, 2009 07:25 AM

I honestly think you'd be better off getting the OBX v2 headers. They're like 380 shipped. That's probably how much an OEM y-pipe would cost anyway.

And FWIW, I've been running my headers for about a year now without any kind of tune. Gas mileage improved a bit also too.

you need to either stop rallycrossing the car, or get a belly skid ;)
