"I'm Back" Advice?

Few years and a few cars later... it feels good to be back! Lots has happened since then, most of it good. The very best car I ever owned (1996 Max SE) is long gone but I am grabbin a 2002 Max SE 6spd with 107k from my good friend and riding buddy. It was his wifes daily driver, eats around a qt of oil every 2-3 months, never had any maintenance besides oil/brake/tire changes and runs perfect. I got married last month and am buying this for the wife. Not looking to mod it at all, just want to see 200k if possible. Besides the basic tune-up stuff I plan to do, any suggestions or advice?

Welcome back. I am guessing its still on orginal clutch and spark plugs? How much did you buy it from?

Yeah... he said it ran fine so he never bothered changing the plugs. Plugs are 1st on my list along with the rest of the tune-up. Yep, original clutch. Hes a good friend, gave it to me for $3k even though he knows he can get more on the private market.

Damn good deal for that price.
At 100k, it's probably time for shocks and belts in addition to the spark plugs.
check brake pads and rotors while you're at it.
