Help!! Has anyone ever mounted driver's side brackets on passenger seat???
 

You may have seen my WTB Thread in the 5th Gen For Sale forums. I am looking for an OEM black leather drivers seat to replace my the torn seat in my fiance's car.

I've found several passenger seats, including this one...

Does anyone have any experience mounting the bracket/rails from the old drivers seat to a new passenger seat and mounting that seat in the drivers position? Can this be done?

Afterall, the leather seats are identical.

Have you consider that the lever/buttons that control the seat position will be on the right side? (if the center console doesn't get in the way)

I was actually hoping that the plastic portion that contains the power seat levers/buttons was part of the base that bolts onto the leather seat. I'm not at home, so I can't check...
