'95-'03 Motor Mount cross-reference...

...this might be an easy one, or not.

What motor mounts are swappable across the years between the VQ30 and VQ35 as well as between automatic and manual? I assumed this would have been in the stickies somewere, but have had no luck in finding.

I found a thread regarding certain mounts and swappability, but no true cross-reference and I have not had access to Nissan Fast in quite some time now.

Not sure do you mean you have not had access to the Nissan FSM's if so here's a working link http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/maxima/

No. Nissan Fast is the parts catalog used by dealers. it shows all parts and cross reference for new part #'s.

This is for a 6MT not Auto.

I think I've narrowed it down to this following:

FRONT MOTOR MOUNT '95-'03
REAR MOTOR MOUNT '95-'03
PASSENGER MOUNT '95-'03
TRANNY MOUNT '00-'03 (Driver side - This is the hardest one to figure out)

None of the online pics are of the tranny mount that I have in my car. So I am skeptical in buying them. They do not have the extra weighted bars welded to the top of the mount and have no attachment for the brakelines. Mine does...

Ok, so which of the mounts in picture are able to be used across 3.0 to 3.5 platforms?

Here are the part #'s for reference and some notes I already know:

REAR MOUNT # 1132040U01 (auto/manual)
FRONT MOUNT # 1127040U03 (only manual ?)
LEFT TRANNY # 112205Y700 (3.5l specific, NOT in picture above)
PASSENGER # 112102Y005 (auto/manual)

Reason I am pushing this topic is because I now have the infamous acceleration only shutter in front end and it is annoying the **** out of me. It happened after I installed brand new axles (R and L).

Here is everything I have personally done to car in last year or so:
1. LCA and balljoints
2. End links
3. Tie Rods
3. Sway bushings
4. top hats
5. Axles
6. poly filled rear/front and tranny mounts

I am lowered on MaxSpeed Springs and Tokico Blues. My rear mount was completely destroyed and my tranny mount was holding all the weight. Used PL poly roof flashing and filled them. Note: I am aware this poly is not as hard as say 3M windoweld.

The shuttering literally happened as soon as I installed the new (beefy as hell compared to OEM) axles. On occurs on acceleration. As soon as remove foot from peddle, goes away, so it's definately engine/tranny to frame type vibration/shake.

it depends on the trim level. but if you want es bushings to go on your car you need 95-03 manual mounts. All manual mounts are the same size. But if you get a GXE/GLE trim they are probably the larger motorized mounts front and back, the newer se's have the larger motorized mount on the rear only. It's very complicated.

I30's have both motorized mounts.

I think the side mounts are all the same, but it's rare to have to replace those

The tranny mount on the 6MT bolts to the frame. The auto does not. So it's specific to the 5.5 6MT. The others are the ones I'm trying to figure out.

I found that I can purchase mounts listed as 3.0 much cheaper than if I specify that I have a 2002. Just want to make sure I get the correct cross-referenced mounts. I already know that I have to buy the 6MT tranny mount specifically for the 5.5 since it is definately different than the 5MT tranny mount for the 3.0.

Just trying to cut some costs, that's all...

they are the same and interchangeable. You can put manual mounts from a 95 up to 01 5spd or 02-03 6spd. they are all the same.

I don't have part numbers to confirm, but visually and based on experience, I've seen this statement to hold true.

Anyway, to the OP, if you want official confirmation, call Dave Burnette and he can probably confirm it. 888-254-6060.
