Ultinon's???

I have searched this forum, the G35 forum and just about every other forum I could find to attempt to find out who sells the Philips Ultinon 6000K D2R's. Anybody here have any idea who sells them? I also called Philips and they told me that Bulbs.com had them, but they dont. I have wanted to change my lamps for a while now to the Ultinon's, but never got around to it. Now one of my lamps is out and I have to get a replacement fast! I already contacted Dave B to see what the OEM price is and its about $150 per bulb! Id really appreciate it if anybody could help me find a retailer for these.

thanks in advance!

www.hidconcept.com the best price your going to find, I do have one for sale but it will be almost impossible to find another single one to buy since they normally sell them in pairs. GL.

Why do you want less light output?

knight_yyz Jan 28, 2010 04:56 PM

actually the ultinons are the best bulb I have had on the car. Got mine on ebay

Ghost_54 Jan 28, 2010 04:58 PM

Like Scott said why would you go for less out put, 4300k is by far the best for illuminating your way ... but here you go on ebay for 185.00

I have tired ebay already. I do not want to order from the far east. I cant wait 2 weeks for them and Im not paying that much for shipping. there has to be a place here in the USA that has them for sale.

As far as the light output - I am not about to get into the whole debate. I have been through that already years ago and all I can say is that I want what I want.

Dont know if you are set specifically on that brand, but www.hidextra.com sells the replacements...

Maxima-Ness Jan 28, 2010 05:09 PM

hidconcept says they are out. I just got an email response back.

Just anohter side note question here - what is the deal with hisextra? Are they any good at all or just a waste of money? The prices are so cheap you have to wonder. I have seen them in the vendor forum after doing some research on getting a kit to upgrade my fogs to HID too, but im still not sure...

you get what you pay for. IMHO

I've bought from them one time. I put HID's in my brights, and they make a world of difference with all the night driving I do. as for that specific company, they sent me two different color bulbs in the package, but were eager to get me a replacement... I never got around to it, but at least they were willing to exchange for free...

Good choice, I have them as my low beam and fog lights. Output is great.
