HELP! 2001 Infiniti I30 Moonroof won't open
 

There is no power, so I replaced the obvious, the switch, NO GOOD. I had the wiring to the switch tested to see if there is power to the switch, and there is. Now I was told to check the fuse, that's where I am stuck at now...I've checked every fuse in the 3 boxes under the hood and the 1 in the car on the drivers side. Can someone please help by telling me where to find the fuse that is for the Power Moonroof? I think my last resort would be to change the sunroof motor but first I need to find the fuse. Does anyone have any other ideas what could be the problem? It just stopped working! Any help would be appreciated...........

Check the FSM, should be the same as the MAx.

Did you disconnect the battery at all since last time you used the sun roof, if so you most likely need to reset the switch, the 02-03 Max's you just push and hold the switch in the off position for about 5 sec. you may hear it click a couple of times as it resets ... then just push the open switch as normal and away it goes. I am not sure on the reset procedure for 00-01, best try a search or two.

No I haven't disconnected the battery, thanks.....will try a search for resetting but wouldn't I need power first?

I checked my manual and it is very bland on the sunroof option. How about your Maxima FSM?

Everything I've read on resetting the sunroof pertains to 2002 and newer cars. Can someone please tell me how to reset the 2000/2001 sunroofs? Thanks
