All that aside, there's really nothing amiss here with that Merlot Maxima. From these pictures, it's absolutely gorgeous. I'd take that over the TL any day of the week. But then, we're all biased to that preference.
This thread would be a big hit in the Members Rides section, because of the whole Nissan vs. Honda sibling rivalry thing.

to add to rochester's comment...
when i blacked out my headlights on my 03 i made it a point to NOT get rid of the amber. i think the amber ovals in the front set the front end nice!
and yes merlot looks hawt. considering that as a repaint color on my 00 as well.

Blacking the headlights, or a gun-metal gray... that's the one visual mod that keep haunting me. I prefer a stock look, but the the headlights on the OP's Maxima look real, real nice.

car looks good, rims are hot
I just dont know if I would have put those rims on that car. They seem over-sporty (is that a word) esp for the rich looking Melot! To me the max needs a more refined rim.
But I aint mad @ you playa!!

In the OP's defense in regards to the amber, those lights are not stock. The amber bulbs that come with them are not as attractive as the oem circular amber cover. In essence, he didn't really 'get rid' of anything.
