Bridgestone Potenza RE950

235-45-17

Anyone have these, they we reccomended to me by a guy at tirerack.com. They have very good ratings on the website but they are Potenzas. They do have the UNI-T AQII which I think the OEM tires don't.

Any thoughts?

if anyone cares I am going to get them installed next week on wednesday or so...I'll let you all know what I think of them

I got them for 171 a piece at a firestone store with a 10% discount for buying 4 new tires, that come out to less than the tirerack.com price per tire...

My brother got them in 225/55/16 for 95 each including mounting and balancing at a Firestone store. I think you could have done much better on the price with a little negotiating... Quote them the Tire Rack price and they should be able to match it.

Anyway, they're very good tires, great grip and excellent wet traction. I'm going to buy a set when my Yokohamas are worn down.

Re: Bridgestone Potenza RE950

I just got mine in 225/55/16 and so far so great. Good on dry, good on wet surfaces (but no heavy rain yet), and hopefully decent in snow, which is the main complaint I had with the Dunlop SP Sport 5000s I had before them. So far at least, I don't miss the SP5Ks in terms of dry performance.

I was also considering the Bridgestone Turanza Revo Zs, which have astounding ratings, but the price and treadwear held me back.
