Power Driver's Seat Keeps Getting Stuck
 

My power driver's seat keeps getting stuck if I put the seat all the way back. When the seat is all the way back and I try to bring it forward nothing happens. If I rock the seat hard I can eventually get the seat to move forward. Does this sound like a motor issue or a lubrication issue or something else entirely?

The motor is on its way out. You can try pulling the motor and cleaning the contacts, but it will only delay the inevitable. Unfortunately you have to buy a whole seat assembly from the dealer for over $1,000. Start looking for a used motor either at junkyards, on ebay, or on here.

I had the exact same problem and ended up replacing the motor with a used one I was able to get on the board.

You can try banging on the motor to get it temporarily moving in order to remove the seat.

Oh and if it's on turn off the seat automatic seat-back function. That should help prolong the life of your seat motor.

If you happen to find the passenger side motors as well, post them up. My passenger reclining motor died a while ago.

Yeah that was happening when I had the 2000 it would sometimes work then it wouldn't and out in Cali they wanted like a little under 900 like damn!!:D
