Where to get Thermistor (IAT sensor)

Ok, so I've heard that people have replaced the thermistor in their MAF, and I know that at least one person ordered a packet of Honeywell thermistors, and my PM to him has gone unanswered... I found a link somewhere on the org (don't remember where) to what I THINK is the correct product. Here it is:

http://sensing.honeywell.com/index.c...1&pr_id=145443

Does anyone know if this is the right thermistor? My ECU is throwing a code for high IAT voltage, and the harness is fine, so I think my thermistor is bad. I just did the 2k1 MAF swap and soldered my old thermistor into the new MAF, but I guess it's malfunctioning...

If anyone can point me in the right direction, that'd be great.

Last year, 2slow sent me a little thermistor that I clipped into a brand new 2001 Maxima MAF. Been working just fine.

Honeywell Part #135-202FAG-J01

Oh... I just followed your link. And yep, that's the one I'm using.

Kind of amazing how Nissan thinks this wee little thing justifies a $300 price hike.

I was just quoted 12 dollars to ship one of these. unbelievable

Digi-key has them for $3.72 each. Problem would be shipping. It's usually around $8.

While this is an old thread, I guess an update on price and availability won't hurt too much.

On April 30, 2011, I found the thermistor for $ .90 plus 4.95 s&h.

Good find. Although it is an old thread, I think that it is an on-going issue and the more info on it the better.

Newark quoted 12.95 shipping to Canada.

90 cents for the part.

I know this is bringing this back from the dead, but honeywell has discontinued this product.

Are there any elictronic gurus out there who can tell me if this one will work instead?

You can still order the Honeywell part from newark.com. I ordered 3 last week, and they had over 600 available. Cost me just under $10 for 3 of them shipping included.

They are not available in Canada thru Newark.

Try digikey in canada

Just ordered one from Mouser Electronics online, we'll see if it fixes my SES light, thanks!

IAT is not part of the MAF FYI, since I didn't know what year is your Maxima is, since mine is a 01 and it look like a plastic part that goes right where your air intake scoop before it hit the MAF sensor.
