Man, I wish I had the money...but if I did...I'd get into a lot of trouble again. Like I did with my 4th gen S/C'er.

Though if you partout, I got my eye on some parts.

Where do you get Autumn leaves in Las Vegas?

Are those rims powdercoated to the color of the car? It looks that way. Man, that's sharp.

Those are Winter leaves actually. I happen to live in an area of Vegas that actually has some vegetation. They were done in a Camaro Gray, similar to the original wheel finish.

Ok. Here is the deal. I am probably not going to find a buyer who will pay for what it's worth. So..... I will part this fukcer out I guess. It will be fun. I can take some demodding progress pics... Have a great laugh... I will make an ad in the classified section. Let the carnage begin...

Almost tempted to get a S13 and put a Silvia front end on it. Hmmm...Here we go again...
S13 is silvia Semantics...you can get the front clips under $600 IIRC though Was going to swap mine. If you find a good frt clip can get SR20 and everything u need save the trans, sometimes they include tranny though, but u have to hunt for that...

Wicked cars, and yeah anyone who abuses a car will break it... but what's the point of boosting/souping a Silvia if you're going to drive miss Daisy around?
Not to mention it would be he11 on hey Kidneys hahaha.

And I'm referring to the S13, not the S14, I have no idea what their reliability or cost is.

Either way it's a whole different ball game from the Maxima. The cornering fun alone will makew you forget a lot about the Maxima

I went from the 300ZX to a MX-6 to the 5th gen and it felt like I was driving a Bus! The turning circle and handling stock is not good by any means on the Max.. but it is what it is.

VQ in a 240??? why would you do that when 240 owners are swapping in LS1's?? putting in a VQ seems to be a step backward IMHO.

Nothing against the LS1 at all with this opinion. I actually am a big fan of the LS1, but in a 240, i'd much rather put a VQ in there just to keep it in the family. The car doesnt need LS1 power to go fast either way. And if you do an HR or 3.7 itteration of the VQ, thats a reliable 330+rwhp right there with bolt ons and a tune. And in a chassis that can weigh in at less than 2500lbs, thats plenty of power to have traction issues. I wouldnt say it's a step backwards, just another option that is actually a step forward when compared to the SR/KA/CA.

I know people personally that have swapped LSx into S13s. I know how fast it is with one, but not everything needs an LSx. It's been done over and over again to the point where there really isnt anything uniqe about it anymore. But again, not saying anything against the LS.

Maybe his dad should have put that mid-life crisis money toward a good english education for Clash instead of an RX-7. Then we wouldn't be reading words like "when't". Hahahahahaha WOW!

i agree on that......i just thought that if anything was played out it'd be the SR20 swaps. i didnt know LSx swaps on 240's were played out already. 1st time i ever heard of an LSx swap on a 240 was barely only 2 years ago.
guess they've been swapping them for awhile it seems.....

There were a few (2 as far as I know) "secret" LSx/240 swaps happening down here as early as 2005 as far as I know. Actually, my cousin wrecked his fox body mustang track car with a big turbo 302 back in '06 if i remember correctly. He pulled the motor out and had it running in an S13 coupe he had at the shop for a week before he pulled it again and sold the S13 with an SR in it to a customer that requested it.

too bad he never ran that at the track. the motor was running consistent high 9/low 10 sec. passes in the mustang.

why not just keep the Sincity beast? Seems like a waste to invest all the time, money and effort and just sell it? Something wrong with it now?

Hard to see the car behind those skirts, ricer tail-lights, and bumperless front end. But now that you say it, I recognize the lines in one of NISSAN's best cars ever. I bought a 240SX Coupe 5MT brand new in 1992, and still miss that car today.

Restore and Mod... you're going to have a lot of fun with that one.

What kind of engine are you going to put in there? Are you going to boost it like your Max? Wouldn't it be cool to see a brand new 3.7L Nissan engine there... but of course I have no idea what kind of engine could be customized to fit in that little car.

Whatever you do, glad to see you're still playing, Roy. Must be the Sin City Max just got played out, is all.
