installed a high/low halogen/xenon hid kit - but the xenon low doesn't work?
 

Hey All:
I attempted to install a high/low halogen/xenon hid kit (High / Low 4300k H4 HB2 9003 Xenon HID Kit) on my 2001 Maxima, but the xenon low beam doesn't work? I tried ballasts from both sides and neither fire up. The high beam / DRL halogen work perfectly fine. I reinstalled the stock halogen 9003 bulb and the low/high work fine, which means the circuit is being energized.

Do I need to add an additional relay somewhere?

Stock 2001 Maxima headlights.

Okay my bad I got thrown off when you said drl's lol. If you have a plug-n-play kit there is a wire the runs to the positive batt terminal. Other than bad ballasts (or even ground), hard to tell why your lows won't fire up. Would need a quick pic of the kit if you can produce one :(

Alright guys Ill get a picture of the kit by this weekend and update y'all then.

What brand is the HID kit? DDM has certain issues associated with it for instance.
