Hello everyone.

Not a good day at all. Had an argument with my girlfriend and was really upset ,
got into my maxima without even warming it up and I took off.

In the middle of the highway, my engine light came on and my temp gauge reached H. I looked under my hood and found my coolant all over my engine.

I was able to spot where it's leaking from. From the look of it, I think it can be fixed. I don't think I need to replace the entire thing.

The link below shows a picture where the leak is. Its that little gap.

Is there a permanent fix for this? I've read a lot about the JB Weld. Not sure if it is just a temperary fix.

I also read about soldering it. Can that type of plastic be soldered together? I think that is the best way of doing it.

Am broke son am broke lol.... A new rad costs around 130 +tax. I won't be able to come up with that till next week.

better bum a ride/borrow a vehicle unless you want to spend more on another engine + labor

Park it. 130 bucks is not worth you having a melt down over and ruining an 8,000 dollar car. Borrow the cash and pay it back next week.

I had a radiator leak a couple weeks ago, that top plastic tank was the problem as well, I just replaced it last week with a KoyoRad. You can always by the upper plastic tank its about $45-$55 bucks, I took my oem radiator apart to experiment and its fairly easy to work with.

i just replaced my radiator today from a small leak i was having. the radiator is a vital organ to the car. dont risk it. it was so easy to install.

I bought a radiator yesterday. Will go pick it up today. I just hope I don't mess something up when changing it and fill the coolant

if its automatic, just be careful with the transmission lines, other than that its easy. in my 5th gen (5speed) i think i did my entire radiator job in about 20 minutes
