300ZX Caliper Adapters

Back in February Cory from CXJ Performance announced that he would be producing the adapter brackets to accept the early 4 piston 300ZX caliper with the 6th generation 12.6 rotors for our 5th generation cars.

I have been in contact with Cory, but he hasn't really been able to make this come to fruition for an assortment of reasons.

There seems to be quite a bit of interest...Does anyone know if there is any availability of these brackets or know of someone planning on producing these brackets?

If I can muster up 5 people who would like these brackets/kits, I can probably get this done. Are there any others who are interested?

I am mod on My6thgen.org and My5thgen.org

I had the Brackets made for the 6th gen guys running the 300zx with Cobra Rotors.

that was over a year ago , if I have more than 5 people than I will get them machined again.

I believe the 5thgen the holes are a bit bigger , is everyone here a 5th gen /4th gen ?

Clarifications probably needed:

1) Making a bracket to use the 300z 4 piston calipers with the 6th gen 12.6" rotors like Matt Blehm did WON'T be sold for $65 shipped. So I take it that's not what is being sold here.
2) I originally made the dog bone brackets for the Z calipers and teh 13" cobra rotors. Originally designed for the 3-4th gens as a bolt on, will work for the 5th gens if you enlarge one set of holes.
3) Cobra rotors on a 6th gen are a bit different from what I read. My brackets won't work. I assume a 6th/5.5? gen bracket with different bolt spacing dimensions is what's being sold here. Someone should clarify

If you can get dimensions from Matt then I can have them made locally. I personally have the set-up using the 300zx rotors and got them milled so I didnt have to use a bracket as I couldn't find one at the time

I'm not going to ask him for that. He was willing to sell BlemCo that included those dimensions.

Asking him for dimensions? That ain't right

I wasn't aware he sold them. I thought he was just a member who made the brackets for himself and was selling them personally not via a business

Either way, I'm not going to insult the man by asking him that. I make the dog bones for the 300z to 3-4-5th gens.

I could have sworn I asked you but maybe I got confused...is there a matt92se as well? dammit. Well Im not sure the exact dimensions of the 300zx rotors when they are milled down but what size can you use with your bracket? the 6th gen rotors or cobra rotors?

Matt93se = Matt Blemn = Blemco = 12.6 Nissan rotors + 300z calipers = 6th gen

Cobra rotors.

So it's confusing on what's actually being sold here. Especially when you guys state "we only need 3 more to produce" Do you guys even know what you are purchasing here?

I didnt know there was an option to buy these. I would have bought the bracket to use the 13" rotors instead of the 11ish I am using now. EBC sells a 11.69" and an 11.02" diameter TT Rotors that is obviously 30mm thick. I personally just think its easier to not use the bracket but I have access to a good machining shop I suppose so my opinion is biased

I have ONE set left for sale. Bolt on for 3-4 gens. For 5th gens, you have to enlarge 1 set of holes.

I'll probably stop producing these brackets unless there's a larger new interest in them.

So basically it allows for another 1.5" of rotor? Bringing the total diameter you can use to 12.6? I thought the cobra rotors were 13"? I didnt research the bigger options much as you can tell because I didnt think I could find a bracket anyways. I will certainly keep you in mind when its time to buy new rotors but I have lots of money invested in just these front 2 rotors ATM.
