What's with the lousy oil dipstick measurement?

If i have a single huge gripe with this gen 5.5, it is this one. Why doesn't the oil dipstick anywhere close to correct measurement unless the car sits for a while? I have had many other cars including prior gen maxima and all other cars register correct reading every time. not this one. It is all over the stick and front side shows one level and back side shows a different oil level. Why couldn't they get this one right? My other infiniti that is 7 years older of course is on the dot every time.

I agree. So do many others. That is all.

I wish the same thing usually got to wait a couple hours or next day.....

I noticed this, but you get used to it after a while. Only time you can check the oil is after the car has been sitting for about an hour but then again as long as you are monitoring the oil correctly then this isn't a big issue its just a kind of thing you need a little patience for.
