When almost 1/2 can was being slowly sucked in, I put the hose fully into the can and let the engine suck on seafoam until it stalled. I then let it sit for 30 minutes to soak in the engine.

Man, when I took the car out for the clean-out run, I produced a crazy amount of smoke. Neighbors would stop in their tracks when I was trying to get out of the neighborhood.
Ahaha, its pretty funny how much smoke comes out. I may be doing this again to see if I can smooth out my rough idle any more.
Great stuff tho.

Much easier than the brake booster line, eh? Glad someone else tried it.

But after the smoke show, do you objectively feel the difference in running?

It was pretty easy but I think I may connect the hose to the nipple that the red arrow is pointing to since it's the entrance to the manifold.

I did it because I had a slightly rough idle and I was starting to hear pinging between 1700-2500rpm while under load.

While the smoking was going on and I was hammering the car onto the highway, the pinging seemed worse and then went away when the smoke diminished.

After driving it a bit, my idle does seem smoother and the pinging has been reduced, but still there. I may do it again in another month or so.

Right now, I am running a tank of Lucas fuel system cleaner + Sunoco 93 Octane so I want to see if that helps at all.

That's the EVAP Solenoid vacuum lead. And yes, that seems to make more sense than the VIAS vacuum lead, factoring in whatever conventional wisdom there may be that Seafoam would clean out the UIM.

I was under the impression that the purpose of the seafoam was to clean out the carbon build-up on the valve heads, but you know... there's so much I don't know, LOL.
