Are these HID's?
 

I have these headlights

Are those HID? Cause usually HID has ballasts to power them.

I'm 100% sure they are HIDs but the real question is if I order these light bulbs will it be as easy as plug n play into the stock housings

Those are HID's from what it seems like in the pic. The ballast seems to be the square piece underneath the assembly.

And depending if those are OEM replacements, the D2R bulbs should fit right in. OEM are D2R bulbs. Problem is that if those headlights are aftermarket, they might not take D2R bulbs. If they do, then its as simple as just popping them in. No extra things needed.

Thank you that's all I needed to know. They are factory OEM supposibly so I'll purchase these bulbs right now and see if I was right.

Well if you buy the H3 one's, you'll have the right equipment, but you'll have to do some cutting into the back of the plastic on the fog so that the wires can go thru. So it's more of a retrofit than a plug and play.

I can't say much bout their output, but every single time I see that kit come up, I see nothing but positive reviews so they must be worth the pretty penny you have to shell out for em.

Chrisman if I have OEM fogs.. Untouched.. Should I get the bulbs(link below) or will it not have enough power for them?... Because the kit (fog link above) is expensive

In order to power the bulbs, you need the ballasts. In order to get the ballasts, bulbs, and power source to all work, you need the harnesses. Therefore, you need the entire kit, unless you already have ballasts and harnesses.

These bulbs will not work without a ballast. That link you provided is only for the blubs.

You don't have to get that kit. I purchased a Xentec HID kit for my fogs and it's been working fine for me. I'm not all anal about the lighting so if it does go out, I'll just go buy another kit. For as much as you're paying for just the bulbs from "theretrofitsource," I'm getting an entire working kit. Just my 2 cents.

Oh ok and that's why I only need the bulbs for my headlights. So now I have to decide whether or not those fogs are worth it, cause I already am getting the headlights

bc thats the best ish money can buy right there. its not as cheap as an ebay kit like xentec or ddmtuning(like $60/kit), but the quality is the best available. the decision between the 2 is up to you and your budget. but if you can afford retrofitsource, i say go with them. like them on facebook to get alittle inside access on their future sales and new products. if you are ever in atlanta, they do public bbq's and stuff, they are really cool folks

Your low beams are already HID, that's why you can just replace the bulbs.

The fogs are definitely worth it though. That's the only kit I recommend.
