2003. Replaced both Down stream O2 sensors. 169,500 miles and still rolling strong. Motor mounts last month. Dealer wanted $1,200 for Front and Back!

Over the holiday, I added rear I35 seat backs to my 5.5 to get the 3 height-adjustable headrests. The leather grain/pattern look to be the same in both cars. I also added an I35 electric rear sunshade switch in my coin holder to replace my previous I30 switch since the I35 switch has the sunshade icon in portrait position while in the I30, the image was in landscape format due to the horizontal positioning of the switch.

No plans to do the rear electric seat heating for now as I rarely have passengers, and mounting the switches will require a creative placement since I confirmed the I35 door panels are not a straight swap to our Maxima (the u-handle underneath the door panel doesn't make the I35 door panel's compatible).

I installed a set of yellow Optilux Hella highbeam bulbs as well as a Kensun 35w 4300k HID kit for the foglights.

started the car after sitting for about 2 weeks in this cold weather, last night was -14F but it felt like -30F or so... she started like it was summer time... ran it for about 25 min to warm up and melt the ice. Attempted to drive it on the roads which were completely covered in ice and decided to jump back in the my quattro and go have fun... FWD 5 speed maximas with even new DUnlop winter tires and not traction control are useless in a weather like this... but still had fun...

As of this morning at 2am I can be added to this list as well. Swapped the leather interior from an 03 I35 into my '01 GLE. Damn those seats are comfy. No more cracked vinyl rubbing my elbow.

Installed a DDM tuning HID 3k kit in my fogs. I'm pleased so far with the output and how fast they warm up.

Thinking of picking up a set of their ballast for my low beams (yes the are aftermarket enclosures) because the ones that came with them are kinda flakey. One fires quicker than the other and the that lights fast like to work intermittently.

Is there a better quality ballast out there or is DDM good enough.

I am in no way comparing the two of you or you your two cars. I am comparing my feelings for you guys cars. Between his issues and lack of knowledge, and the daily beat down you put on yours I don't know which car I feel worse for.

That's all.

I have no problem with VVME on eBay, ran a set for 3 years delivering pizza at night, constantly turning on and off and seeing more on time than most average cars will see in 6 years. I don't have experience with DDM but aren't they a lot more $$?

^^^ I guess you must be old then... or just drive like you are.... Sure Trin is a little hard on the throttle, but that is the point of owning a nice car... If you don't drive it like you stole it once in a while... then you might as well drive a hybrid... Yea Maxima's aren't the tuner car of choice, and the only reason I am driving and modding one is because I have one... but its what I love to do with my time and money, and if I can't enjoy it, then why bother... And that means being hard on it, and the reason I fix it and maintain it is so that when I am hard on it, it doenst brake.

Just because your maxima doesn't run properly doesn't mean all of the other ones out there don't. My Maxima has had every piece that needed replacement, replaced, I check all my fluids constantly, and when something comes up, I fix it right away. Your car obviously doesn't receive the same attention and care, and therefore runs like so. You are welcome to come beat on any of my 3 Maxima's at any time and they will take it.
