Do a search. There was a guy on here that put a matching set from his headlights. Looked awesome.

Jesus, LED fogs? I mean, I understand some people don't care about functionality or making any sense but.... I digress

there is no plug and play LED fog option for any maxima.

HOWEVER...there is a way to do it using fogs from either a late model Fusion, BMW X5, or LED fogs from TRS (the retrofit source). Like I said, NOT PLUG AND PLAY so you'll have to do a ton of work, but it is doable.

Do you remember that thread where that guy did it? I think it was last year. It was an LED for conversion right?

I think he had a pic from the side, where the headlights and the fogs were in line. Looked sharp.

No, I actually don't. I'd be intrigued though. Was it an actual LED module from a production car, or one of those multi-LED type wannabe bulbs that gets plugged in?

Ummmm, I guess I'm probably wrong then, because I thought it was an LED conversion. But you know more about this stuff than I do, so let me see if I can track it down in my list of subscriptions.

I have heard of HID kits in fogs (), and HID projectors in fogs () as well as these type of LEDs in fogs ():

But if one's going to do LEDs in their fogs properly, it's imperative to get an OEM type LED setup, due to the optics involved.

To be honest, I have no idea what is what with any of this. I'm a motor and wrench guy, the extra stuff is out of league!

But I found it. He put drive lights on his fogs. I think it looks good.

There can't be that much difference in the 5.5 vs the 4th!

prepare to be surprised:

5th gen Maxima - 35.4' (16" wheels) or 40' (17" wheels)

5.5 gen Maxima - 40 foot turning radius (17" wheels)

4th gen maxima - 34.8 feet

damn near 6 feet of difference...I knew there was a big difference but didn't know it was that much

Actually there is an H3 kit you can get from V-LED's.

http://www.vleds.com/bulb-type/fog-l...lm-1-pair.html

Problem is making sure you have room for the heat sink and fan...which also mean you probably won't be able to leave the cover on the light. The LED needs to ventilate the heat it produces.

Look up chevy blazer fogs. The lens is a projector and with some work (search the retrofit source) you can have a color band from the FOG lights!

Fiber glass it. It will take alot more work but looks good. You have to strip the vinyl and use the foam under lay as far as the dash goes anyway for a mold and when your done you can make it any colour you like with a nice gloss finish. I've seen dash and center door panels done that way and look pretty good.
