Car cranks but won't start…Need different Suggestions

Hope someone can help. The car has randomly had issues where the NATS light stays solid thus cutting the spark. Can start with no issues for 2 weeks and then be dead one day.

We have done all of the following and are still having random dead starts:
- new key and reprogrammed NATS at dealer
- replaced ECU and IMMU transponder in column along with a new key
- checked fuel pump and is functional
- No codes being generated

Is there any other parts in the security system? Anyone know where to find a good wiring diagram of the NATS system?

Thanks

dead as in drained battery or the security system acts up? if the battery is going dead, you have a parasitic drain and when you boost it the security acts up from the dead battery

if dead as in the security systems does the no-start, is there a module for the NATS?

Battery is fine. Checked the voltage

Security Light is staying on…NATS is in locked mode.

in that case someone probably knows more than me, but if you changed all that other stuff it could be the module possibly

The wiring diagram of the security system is on page EL-323 of the FSM. (If you don't have the FSM, you can download it from here: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Maxima/) .
It is quite obvious from your description that you have an intermittent fault. I would suspect a harness, a connector, or other electromechanical part that fails (or starts behaving) when shaken up, or heated up, or cooled down ... . It could also be the security module itself.
- Have you have all your keys re-programmed?
- When the car does nor start, have you tried to wiggle the key?
- Have you tried to remove the steering wheel cover and wiggle the harness and connectors?
Good luck!
