knock sensor in 00 max - replace or no?

so the upper intake manifold is off. should i go a bit further and replace the knock sensor while i'm here? been reading this thread:

https://maxima.org/forums/5th-genera...ck-sensor.html

and not sure if it's worth it to go the extra mile. i don't have any codes, but also don't want to dig this deep in the future. i already have a gasket set (ripped my uim gasket whoops lol), for a 15 year old car where random things are failing, would it be worth the added cost of the sensor and time to install? looks like fuel rails and lim need to be removed to make this happen. all input is appreciated, thanks gentlemen

It's not worth the money to me. I'd just bypass it if it goes bad.

You need to do the coolant bypass on the throttle body before your ECU goes poof.

seems like i will ignore it then. thanks for the response

definitely plan on doing the coolant bypass while things are apart. i feel i already dodged that bullet once a year and a half ago when i had to replace iacv.

And replace fuse #58 with 7.5A fuse; this note explains: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6O...1fNlF5QjQ/view .
