Today I did the shiftice.com rear deck rattle fix, but now as I put everything back together, my rear seat belts are locked, and I cant extend them to place them back in position...is there any trick to get them loose, or do I have to buy a new setup and start fresh?

You may already know this, but the ESM says the seat belt retractors all are of the Emergency Locking Retractor Type and all but the driver's use automatic lock retractors (ALR). This prevents the belt from retracting in a sudden stop. The manual goes on to say that you need o let the belt completely retract for the ALR to release. There isn't any other diagnosis in the manual. There is a discussion about the angle of the mechanism so you should do this on level ground. Hope this helps.
