Not sure what this gasket is

It's the gasket in the middle the bigger orings I'm pretty sure the small ones are for the spark plugs

That's your valve cover, with the big rings around is your spark plug tube. the smaller o rings are the valve cover grommets.

That's a valve cover gasket. Just not for a Maxima. It's completely wrong even without the 4 spark tube seals.

Looks like a gasket for a 4 cylinder engine.

Maybe for a 2.5 liter Maxima from overseas.

You want the whole set. The very large gasket is for the cover, and like someone said, the others are for the spark plug seals and the small bolts holding the cover down.

Look at YouTube. There is a very good video of a complete replacement that I've watched and probably many others. It will make sense when you watch them.

If you're replacing the VC, the new one comes with the spark plug tube seals already installed so all you need is the gasket.

If you're just replacing the gasket on a 3.0 car you can replace the spark plug tube gaskets as well.

The 3.5 cars have plastic VCs and are very easy to break if you try to remove the old tube seals. You can use some quality RTV like Hondabond on them and reuse the seals but it's recommended to replace the VCs all together.
