Replacing inner timing chain case

I may actually replace this in this car in a few years.
Will the motor have to completely be removed?

Why does it need to be removed? Is it cracked or broken?

I slipped a bit down and out.

Its now set for a M10 bolt instread of a M8.
I had an extra timesert i put in.
I had to mod the bracket bolt holes.

If you were able to get another bolt to tighten down properly, I would leave it alone. It will be a lot of work for a very small gain.

I got a M10 at Lowes and tightened it down.
