Need to find out if a 2003 Maxima Gle transmission fit into a 2001 Maxima gle

Looking to find out if a 2003 maxima with a 3.5 motor transmission will fit into a 2001 Maxima with a 3.0 motor

I think it will, there are other threads saying it does fit.

I know a 00-01 automatic will work in a 02-03 but it is missing one revolution sensor. It should work the other way around fine with the extra sensor not used.

As long as both transmissions have open differentials the drive shafts are the same.

there is a viscous LSD aka VLSD version found in some cars with certain packages and the i30/i35
