What wiper blades are you guys running?

Looking for something cheaper than my usual Rain-X Latitudes.

I've honestly never found that any new-fangled fancy-schmancy blades work any better or last any longer than any other.

I just use the old fashioned steel frame blades as I have to change them out on the same frequency as any others anyway.

I'm currently using the Trico Exact Fit ... as I recall they're like $10.00 or $11.00 each when not on sale.

Bosch evolution
Three years and now they need to be done again.

Bosch Icon. They don't last long, but they are very simple and very effective.

The ones that have the thick cover over the blades to protect from the sun are the best. they last the longest.

Mitsuba OEM G37 blades.

Valeo Ultimate, which are the OEM's without the ugly fading dot indicator. 17 and 26 inch I believe.

My first set lasted about 5 or 6 years... now I am on my second set. Simply the best wiper ever made.

Can't resist, Costco. Regular priced Goodyear hybrid blades: ~$6.99/each, on sale~$4 (sales about twice a year). Their fancy but don't think they last 5-6 years like the Valeo Ultimate, I usually switch out every 2years pending how bad the last winter was here.

If your already there, get a pack of kirkland's 36 count yellow microfiber cloths~$14. On sale Chevron Techron 6-pack fuel injector cleaner ~$12/pack, reg~$20. Best uses microfiber: sunglasses, camera lenses, windows, home electronics, computers, hdtv's, auto detail everything.

I copped these off RA for a good price. They look cool and wipe well [so far]. We'll see how long they last.

haven't replaced mine yet, but when I do, I'm taking out the blade inserts, and replacing them with the ANCO® refills sold on Flea Bay. Re-use the metal frame (as long as it isn't rusted to hell), so it's more "green" and about half the cost of replacement at retail. You can usually find one size pair for under $10. It's like a 2-fer, because you buy two different sizes, but there are two refills in each, so you come out ahead when you put in the second pair.

Goodyear blades from Costco. Best deal.

Roymg 03-29-2018 07:48 AM

Seems to me that the OEM's that came with a new max lasted longer than any replacement that I have ever used, but who wants to pay Nissan for new ones. I just buy whatever I can find and the right size. When they squeal I replace them.

Used Bosch Icon at first, but got an annoying rattle from the little plastic covers after a while. Switched to Trico - a set from RA is half the price of 1 blade from AutoScam. No plastic clips, single piece attachment. Quiet, good looking.
