P0011 and P0021, Cooked ECU
Engine turned over and would run, horribly. No power, rough idle, all the symptoms of bad timing. Can we see the problem?
The circuit track looks fried, however, there is continuity between the two contact points on the affected circuit track. Would this then still be the root cause of the codes/engine issues? The engine harness of this car was hacked into pretty badly with twisted up splices all over, including right above the main ECU connection, with bare twisted together wires. What in the world would compel the numbskulls that worked on this thing to do this?

Hopefully, the trashed wiring is what you see lol. If you want to repair it, I would run all new wires for the sensors, if those have been tampered with, and solder all the splices you can find. You could try just repairing what you see and clean/test the solenoids with a new ecu.

Or better yet, rip the old harness out, burn it, and buy a new, complete, unmolested engine harness, which is precisely what I did. Needless to say, I am now on the hunt for an ECU. On top of that, add the task of familiarizing myself with nds2 to reprogram my ignition key. Good times.
