5th Gen RTA OMG
Hi errybody and thanks for looking at my post.
I have had serious alignment issues with the rear so I took it all apart and the RTA bushing, and tube that holds the bushing, fell out of the Trailing Arm once I removed the bolt. The rear beam assy is still attached to the car, but in the picture below you can imagine the tube the bushing sits in is gone. I have the ES bushings ready to go in, but not sure what to do.
Below is what the bushing and tube look like now:
So what should I do?
I was thinking to maybe get a new tube cut and to weld it into the existing RTA, or to buy an entire beam assy from a junkyard.

Just had an idea to remove all the rubber and cut a slit in the tube, then hammer something in the slit once the tube and new bushing is in the RTA. This would expand the tube and will fill the extra space created by the misshaped tube.
