Coilover covers

I have heard of these before but never from someone who actually owns a set. For salty roads these seem like a must have.

Here is a DIY one:

Does anyone here have experience with these?

I don't really see the point the springs aren't really gonna rust before it's time to replace them

BC springs can start to rust only after 2-3 winters in the salt belt.

Besides rust, salt and sand can ruin the threads and possibly work itself into the body. I suppose if you rinse them off regularly you'll be fine....or just not live in the rust belt.

A coilover Condon? Another reason I enjoy Struts for road driven cars...There's a coilover or two that features a durable anodized threaded body...but they're high dollar...

I greased my threads which kept them decent but the paint on the springs didnt last.
