After break in, security system no longer works.

02 maxima se. Someone broke into my car the other day at work and now my key fob no longer works. Replaced the battery in it just to be sure and it still doesnt work. When I turn the key in my ignition, the red dot on the dash next to "security" still blinks. I checked the fuse and it was good. Any ideas on how to fix this?

When they broke in where they trying to hotwire it? It's likely got something to do with something they broke...

Just watched the video...Seems like it would be pretty easy for someone to program additional remotes if all they had was the key and a new remote...a bit disappointing to see it's that easy to program. Wonder if whoever broke in, programed a remote to your car so they can come by and unlock it again and keep stealing whatever you have in it...but this time without breaking in.

Is there a way to disable all remotes previously programed?

Not unlikely. A section of the Smart Entrance Control unit (the precursor to the BCM), which controls the remotes might have been breached.
