Can't roll down passenger window from driver side
The master switch on the driver side has been checked and confirmed to be getting power. The passenger side window switch works. It's an annoyance to reach across the car to roll down the passenger side window. What else might I check? Thanks.

So you have power to the driver side switch at the connector but the switch isn't doing anything? Sounds like the switch is bad to me especially if the motor and regulator for sure work via the passenger side switch

Have you swap out your passenger side switch since you've asked the last time? your passenger side switch could be bad, swap that out with a switch from the back door. The passenger side switch has three positions, one position is up, one position is down, and the third is the neutral position (when you are not pressing or pulling the switch) it connects to the drivers side and lets the master switch do its work flip flopping polarity. If your passenger side switch works when you press it, that means power is getting to that side.....but when you are not pressing the passenger side switch it also need to complete the the circuit for the drivers side master switch.. the switches are made that way so that if someone (passenger) is pressing or pulling on one of the single switch, the master switch won't move that window, if it does, you'll be blowing fuses anytime any passenger is on one of the non driver's switch and the driver tries to close or open a passenger windows |
More than likely it's the Driver Master Switch or a dirty passenger control switch....

You can always open the window control on the passenger door and apply 12 VDC to that window and see if it rolls up or down...If it does then you know the motor is good. If you can disassemble the switch assy(s), sit the control in a container full of lemon juice and rinse clean with water and reassemble with white lithium grease.
