NE1 with Stillen FSTB on 2002 Maxima, I have a question...
 

I just a have a question if fit fine on your 2002 Maxima???

I installed Stillen FSTB on my 2002 with no problems last week.
I heard from some people that Stillen FSTB won't fit 2002 Maxima. :confused: It fit fine on my 2002 Maxima, the same way as it did on my 2000 maxima.
Only thing I noticed that it is touching hoodliner a little bit when the hood is closed. But I think it did the same thing on my 2000 Maxima.

Dany what did you do with the 2k? I thought U were Anti Maxima after all the problems you had on the 2000.

Stillen has a new 2-piece FSTB for the 2k2 that braces to the firewall...

...it looks extremely bada$$.

I was speaking with my stillen rep last week. He had no pics and they will not be ready for 4 weeks.

Maybe they just making a new design of FSTB...
 

But the one I have from my 2000 Maxima fits fine on my 2002 Maxima. So I don't know why Stillen was saying that FSTB from 2000 Maxima will not fit the 2002 Maxima. The engine bay is indentical.

Do you guys think the new FSTB that Stillen is designing (two piece one) will give better performance than the one I have now??

I saw pic of it in their full spread ad in the latest issue of SCC.

On the passenger side by the strut tower there is a plug that is very close to the 3 bolts. I wonder if that will pose a problem

I returned my 2000 SE and took 2002 SE. They gave me good deal, so I couldn't refuse.
This 2002 SE feels like it is much better build than my 2000 SE was.

How is your car doing? Have u done any mods on it lately?
I have a question, you have H&Rs springs on your car right?
Did you install them on stock shocks?

That is what I planning to do on my 2002. I wanted to ask if the cars drives good and any problems that you have encountered with H&Rs?

Car is running good. Don't drive it much now a days. I got a Supra I boost around in now.

yeah I have the H&R with Stock struts. been on for 25K miles. Still holding good. NO leaks on struts. NO bouncing around. I don't feel I need to change them yet. I do need new tires though. Those Bridgestones are bald now. I'm holding off b/c I don't drive the car so thats $800 I don't have to spend on tires.
