Bandging noise near Y-Pipe on my HARD 1-2 shift's??

Ever since I put my Greddy exhaust on my car it has made this awful banging noise when I do a real hard 1-2 shift at WOT. At first I just figured it had something to do with my Greddy exhaust banging around when I get wheel hop but now I'm starting to wonder. Is this a sign that one of my motor mounts is busted? I need some help here :) Can I visualy inspect my mounts and see if they are busted? What do I look for, liquid gushing out of it or something? Advice is needed, BTW I only notice the noise when my car hops which is usual during a all out 1-2 shift which induces a lot of wheel spin and tire hop.

Thank you for your help :)

I also noticed my car is a little slower (.2-.3 tenths 0-60) ever since I noticed this bandging noise and it's not because I lost HP, it's traction related.

...Yikes. That sounds bad, are all your mods going to make it tough for you to take in to the dealership for warranty coverage if an engine mount is busted?

I'd probably just fix the mount myself if it's busted. I don't think it is busted though, I think things would be a lot worse if it was

Hey emax95, I have the same thing happening when I manually shift my auto tranny at wot, it kinda knock underneath the car since I installed the Y-Pipe and new muffler, I was told that the Y-Pipe is knocking on the crossmember, we need to remove the crossmember and use a bunch of washer to clear it out, it might also be the B-Pipe that knock too.

I will check it out over next week-end.

PM me if you want, so we can keep in touch.

P.S: If an engine mount would be broken it would knock under normal situation too.

Cheers

Hey thanks for the info, it must be my B-Pipe bandging since I still have a stock Y-Pipe on the car. It started bandging as soon as I put the my exhaust on, everything looks to be on ok and all, I guess I will double check :) .
