Nice pix bud!

So it was that easy to install? I haven't done mine yet ... waiting for warmer weather and a cleaner car .. I guess I should go clean it out huh?

Nice and "racey". install it all yourself, how hard was it?

Very nice! How much was the kit? Is it just for the center console or do you have the door pieces, cluster surrounds, etc?

I got the 22 pc. Joshua Tree Carbon Fiber kit for $234.71; installation of the dash kit took time and patience lining up the pieces. The only problem installing the e-brake was positioning of the boot.

is it a molded kit?

did u have trouble screwing in the screws? When i screw them in, it doesn't seem to get tight, like the brake handle still moves. Did u install all 4 screws in the holes?

Where did you buy the kit? I was thinking about a brushed aluminum kit, but think it will be too flashy with the rest of my black interior. But I think the carbon fiber kit would look sweet.

I only installed 3 screws as shown in the directions that came with the e-brake. Make sure you use the longer screws as well. Using the short ones may not provide enough strength.

Hobert,

I bought the kit from Joshua Tree, their website site is www.woodtrim.com.

Yea, I thought about getting the brushed aluminum too, but didn't want to be able to see from outside car and like the subtle yet smooth look of carbon fiber.

molded kits

anyone know where I can get a molded carbon fiber kit for my max? It seems like a molded kit would make install and fitment a lot eaiser

make sure the hose is long enough for the screws. the screws doesnt contact the metal, but go straight into the hose...also make sure u've taped the hose good.
