don't any of you folks sell your SE rims??
 

I'm trying to get me a set for my 4th gen. I can't afford a 5th gen, so I might as well try to get the wheels. But none of you fools is selling! what gives?

I'll sell the 5th gen wheels I have, but I don't know if Kevin will be too happy. :D

I just took a set off mine too yesterday .. Let me think about it..... PM me if you are really interested. I've got Nittos on them with less than 5000 miles.

I had noticed the OER and was kinda wondering. Is there any huge disadvantage to purchasing these? I imagine OER might not imply the same build quality as OEM, but why? Nissan outsources TONS of parts for their cars. Is it possible these are made by the same manufacturer? I don't know much about how wheels are made -- so I freely profess my ignorance in this matter. Comments, questions, suggestions?

fit and finish.. I've seen replica cast from a mold of a more expensive wheel. Some of the lines were wavy. Didnt impress at all. I would have to see them in person first.

Also, the actual nissan wheels/tires are 52 lbs each. if the replicas are any heavier, ummmm... wow...

I just got flawless 2k2 17's with great tires for $650 (there was no shipping). those deals are out there, just be patient. the key is that most people dont want to ship 200lbs worth of rims ($130-ish). Usually sellers will negotiate more if they dont have to go thru that hassle of packaging.

I PMd you earlier, but the replicas are the same quality, finish and color. The exact same molds that Nissan uses are used to make these. The only difference is that the center of the center cap is not dark grey- Nissan has a patent on that. The rest of the wheel- you can't tell the difference. I have the replicas (in my backyard for now) and they looked great!

the replicas I have seen have been of JDM wheels (too expensive to import so they copy), if asu174 says they are quality and has seen/has them, then disregard my post above.

Hey you want a set of Rims brand new (about 40 miles driven on rims) from a 2001 Max-SE.

Make me an offer that's fair an their yours. I have no tires on them because when I bought the car (September '00) I had the dealer to pull them off an put my custom wheels from my '99 Max-SE on the new car.

I have rim's stored in plastic bags here at home. No scratches or marks on rims. Just e-mail me! I'm in Decatur Georgia, just outside of Atlanta.:cool:
