HID Anti-Theft Idea....
Hey, I was thinking about this when looking at all the ppl who got theirs stolen...
...how about etching the VIN on your HID assembly? I know they do this for other items in cars so why not this? I can imagine that it can be done so it doesn't interfere with the performance of them.
Not that it would prevent theft, but at least a-holes on e-bay would think twice before selling them
Any input?

thing is, my bolts pretty much assure they wont get a working assembly, the tabs have to be broken.. They will be obviously stolen to anyone.
but they are after the bulbs/ballasts in many cases.
