Blk/Blk Maximas - What's with the floor mats?

I have a 2k1 Blk/Blk Max with grey carpeting and floor mats. Anyone who has a Blk/Blk 5th knows what I mean. Anyway, I went to the dealer and ordered black mats. (because in the accessories catalog they look black) I went to go pick them up the other day and they are the same color grey that I have. I guess grey is black to Nissan.

Do they make an aftermarket "true" black mats that fit the Max properly?

Although Nissan's brochure and web site call the new interior Black - all of the Dealer's refer to it as the old Charcoal color.

As a semi-related topic - where's the extra pad on the mat for us 6-spd owners:confused: 3400 miles and it looks like my heel is wearing a whole throught he mat already. Honda stitches a nice 6x12" pad on top of the mat that wears much better than the fabric. Poor design by Nissan for a stick shift

I have the same problem on my mats and it's an auto! Then again, I do have 63k on the clock. I bought a new set to have. And yes, my black interior has grey mats/carpet as well.
