Wheel weights for the 18's?

Anybody know how much the wheels & tires weigh on the SE? I'm helping my brother with getting some aftermarket wheels and suggested he get something a little lighter than stock.
I checked the stickys and couldn't find anything.

SE Wheel/Tire Weight

I weighed a wheel and tire off my 04 SE on a bathroom scale and got 52 lbs.

Bathroom scales tend to weigh a couple lbs. light, so I think it would be safe to say the wheel/tire combo weighs 54 lbs. :rollsmile

18 weight

They must weigh a ton because I put on some 17's with aftermarket rims for snow tires because i was getting terrible traction and the car felt 1000 lbs lighter.

I weighed my 04 rims also on a bathroom scale. they weighed 52 and my 19s with tires weighed 54.
