Gunmetal SE wheels. LOOK INSIDE
I thought I'd go the cheaper route for the winter, so I had the stock wheels painted.
Still like the look of the 20's much better, but I just took a trip to vermont and wow, the ride was 10x's better with the stock wheels.

Wheels look great. But you know what is really funny, I usually HATE cars that have ski racks on them. I really like the way yours looks. (I dont think I could keep that on the car during the summer) But, the wheels, tint, and the rack bring a nice light and dark balance to the car. The grill makes everything come together even more. Do you have a rear window spoiler too? All in all, very nice.

I had my friend paint them for 50 bucks, pretty damn cheap. Only thing is the clear coat has metallic in it. And I believe they have 4 coats paint, 4 coats clear, but when the sun is hitting it hard, it almost has a bluish tinge to it. Kinda when u buy a watch with the protective film on it. Downfall is it doesn't peel off.

I am also thinking about doing it. I am going to see if a shop can get my wheels like the titanium ones.

A message I responded to:
yo dude, what's up man. The 20's fit the car real nice, but the ride kinda sucks. Plus it's winter time and I take alot of snowboarding trips so the last thing i want is to have the 20's peeling paint from the salt and sh*t on the roads. Plus I put the wheels on right before my 400mile trip to vermont over the weekend and damn the ride was great. Felt like a whole new car. But back to the subject, my boy with an s4 put some 19's on his whip (anthrosite color) on a silver max and got me thinking of darker wheels for the whip. So him and I where going to get aftermarket wheels for the winter (can't let ur boys 1 up u), but then we realized its a waste of money, so we where going to get them powder coated for around $300 bucks, but since my boys rich and doesn't work. He thought he could tackle the project and he started painted his stock wheels gunmetal and wow, they came mint looking. So I had him do it for me for 50 bucks. Basically we kept the tires on the wheels, taped them up and sprayed away with about 4-5 coats of paint and 4-5 coats of clear coat. ONly had them on since saturday and they are holding up well but who knows if it will start chipping, time and wheather will tell. any other questions hit me up. Oh ya it was all spray painted. I was just showing people what i did, I can't say I recommend because I don't know the long term effects. Where going to scuff up the regular finish to hold the paint but the wheels where mint so paint and clear coat where applied to front and back of wheel. Hardest part is taping up the wheels. Hope this helps PLUS NO WHEELS CLEARNERS CAUSE THEY WILL RIP THE PAINT RIGHT UP. SOAP AND WATER BABY!!
LIKE I SAID I DON'T KNOW HOW WELL THEY WILL HOLD UP, BUT FOR 50 BUCKS WORTH OF PAINT AND 3 HOURS THEY LOOK GREAT. I DON'T CARE CAUSE I'M RIDING MYSELF OF THE MAX IN A FEW MONTHS ANYWAYS? JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO GET
