Just got my 2005 3.5 SE

Hello Gang!

I'm new here, but i just got a 2005 Maxima 3.5 SE, fully spanking loaded, except for the navigation system (which I could not justify for 2,000 USD). Got the 18" chromes and it looks BAAADDDDD! This car is a joy!! Traded in a 2003 BMW 330i and I have to say that I am very impressed with the handling and power of this car. Picked it up for 33K, including the chrome wheel package and parts of the Elite and Sensory packages - Pearl White and it came with factory tints and LoJack. I'm thinking I could have probably done better, but I financed 24K at 0%.

How do I post a screenshot??????????

Sincerley,

Dennis D. Mullert

congrats and welcome to the club

by the way how did ya get 0%. Nissan never offer 0% its usally 0.9 or 1.9 If nissan is offering 0% APR on a 05 max, that is sad, means they are having problems selling the max.

They Must be!!!!!!!!!!

Hey CarFreak!!!!!!!!!!!!

They must be desperate then!!!!!!!!! Got the 0% at Nissan of McKinney in McKinney, Texas. 0% for 5 years or 2.6% for 6 years. You could also opt for the 1,000 discount vs the 0%, but that would not make any sense.

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Mullert

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new Maxima. Post some pics! You will need to find a website that hosts pictures. Costs about $20-40 a year.

Dennis Mullert, are you sure about that 0%? Nissan's end of year promo on the 2005 Maxima is 2% for 5 years or $1k back. What do you have on your car and what did you pay?

Dennis, you can go to www.cardomain.com and put up pics of your new ride. Congrats on the new car. I get you feel like you are in the Grand Canyon considering the difference in space from the BMW...

Hey Phil75070

Hello Phil!

Do you live in McKinney???? I noticed your 75070 name - that's McKinney's zipcode. I really could not tell you what the heck Nissan is doing with offers these days, but McKinney Nissan gave us a 0% for 60 months. The other options were 2.6% for 72 months if we wanted to bring the monthly down a bit. I figured it was not worth it. We also got offered the $1,000 discount, but against the 0%, that was a no-brainer. Maybe it was a dealer offer, but I doubt it, as the financing entity is Nissan itself. These guys are a brand new dealership - under 5 months old, so maybe they have been given some leeway on offers to generate new business. God knows!!!!!!!!

By the way!!! I got every option available on my 2005, except the Nav. Syst.(which was expensive as hell - $2,000), the rear center console (waste of space), and the rear shade (which only comes with the rear center console - pretty ridiculous as it is a nice feature to have).

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Mullert

Hello gang!

Here's a picture of my new Maxima without the chrome wheels. I already have them installed and will take new pictures this weekend and update here so you could check it out - they made a world of difference.
