heres a perfect auction for whats needed to do this conversion, i know this has been braught up before. but has anyone matched these up with our 6th gen brakes to see if the mounts match up?

ahh man look at the price, too high for me right now........ sux

Seriously, that's a little steep for a used set. I'm sure a big brake kit will be released for our cars in the same price range, but new.

DeusExMaxima Jan 30, 2005 02:54 PM

way to expensive. Performance Nissan in Duarte CA sells a set of AP Racing brakes for the maxima for about $1700. Would rather get that then used Brembos. Doesnt look like the Brembos are gonna sell. They may be worth 500-700 used IMO.

The seller has a 0 feeback rating too. No way I'd touch them unless I was able to pick them up in person before paying. Also like everyone else has said the $1700 is way too steep.

I think I recall that those brakes were problematic on the G35 so thats why they are no logner available? Not the calipers, but the rotors. I would think that if they are the same size rotors as our OEM brakes that the difference in going to a 4 piston caliper my be so small that there is no way its worth the money. Don't calipers like that have to be serviced every year, replacing seals and whatnot?

I had Brmebos on my 04 Spec V and the braking was phenomenal in that car. I miss then dearly. :bawling: Rock hard pedal, and great modulation.

does anyone know if they will bolt up to our car?
